This Beige Marble open book shaped headstone is manufactured in our own stone workshop from a selected solid block of natural Beige Marble. The main tablet is precisely cut and shaped as an integrated stone body, with a gently curved book profile and a defined central division that forms the open-book design. The solid construction provides a clean, continuous appearance across the curved header, book panels and shaped edges.
The upper header features hand carved roses arranged symmetrically on both sides of a central carved bee relief, while smaller floral motifs ---- forget me not carved down to the outer edges of the open-book panels. Each decorative element is individually and carefully shaped by our stone carvers rather than produced as a standard surface print or bonded ornament. The shallow-to-medium relief work is finished by hand to retain clean petal transitions, leaf definition and the rounded contours of the bee.
