Fabricated from high-density Indian Black granite-a natural gabbro valued for its deep black tone and fine crystalline structure-this square lantern provides a permanent protective housing for memorial lighting. The structural assembly features four vertical corner pillars milled with inner slot channels to hold four heat-resistant tempered glass panes, a flat base slab, and a removable top granite cap fitted with thermal air ventilation slots to release heat from burning candles.

As a functional memorial ornament, this square lantern offers a weatherproof alternative to temporary plastic or metal candle holders. The uniform black granite surface accepts fine sandblasting or laser etching for small emblems or religious symbols. Our manufacturing facility supplies international monument retailers, stone masons, and funeral supply distributors with complete custom fabrication options. Pillar Slot Milling: Corner pillar channels are milled to exact depth tolerances, ensuring glass panes slide in smoothly without loose rattling or stress points.

Thermal Vent Clearance: The top cap exhaust vent is checked to guarantee proper hot air release when burning standard wax candles inside the chamber.

Polishing Gloss Inspection: Digital gloss meters confirm reflection values exceeding 90° across all outer polished surfaces.

Individual Foam Packaging: Fully assembled lanterns are poly-wrapped and encased in custom-cut EPE foam boxes within wooden crates to isolate glass panes and polished stone corners during ocean transit.

 

 

Indian Black granite offers extreme outdoor durability against weathering, UV exposure, and environmental pollution. In regions with freezing winter climates, water trapped inside an enclosed hollow ornament poses a freeze-cracking risk.
Designed as a compact memorial ornament, the lantern's natural granite weight provides wind stability when placed outdoors.
