Tan Kah Kee, the famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader, was born in Xiamen and later went to Singapore to develop and become one of the local pioneers. At the naming ceremony, Tan Kah Kee's eldest grandson Chen Liren and great-grandson Chen Ming and Xiamen Airlines party committee member and deputy general manager Huang Guohui jointly took the stage to announce that Xiamen Airlines' "Kah Kee" flight had officially "taken off". Chen Liren said excitedly: "The naming of the 'Kah Kee' flight has opened a new chapter for the promotion of the 'Kah Kee Spirit'. Previously, our city has successively named Xiamen University's "Jia Geng" scientific research vessel, "Jia Geng" subway line 1 train set and "Jia Geng No. 1" rocket. The addition of the "Kah Kee" flight this time builds a multi-dimensional "Kah Kee Spirit" publicity matrix that links sea, land, air and space, making this spirit shine in a wider space.

It is reported that Xiamen Airlines flight "Kah Kee" selected flight MF851 on the "Xiamen-Singapore" route. In October every year, Xiamen Airlines will use this name and mark it on the official ticket sales page, and simultaneously launch special themed flight activities.
