Every visible carved element is finished by hand, allowing the carver to control the facial expression, feather edges, flower contours, clothing folds and relief depth individually. The completed statue is polished to bring out the natural mineral pattern of the Bahama Blue Granite while maintaining clear definition across the carved surfaces.
