On November 29, the construction of the information system at Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport reached a critical milestone. The Xiangye Group, in collaboration with various participating units, successfully overcame technical challenges such as system compatibility and interface integration, achieving seamless data exchange between the departure system and the security inspection information system. This marks the full integration of the domestic passenger journey chain from check-in, security screening to boarding.
It is reported that Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport has integrated a new-generation departure system, which deeply incorporates diverse scenarios such as convenient transfers and personalized services. This is expected to enhance the efficiency of departure procedures by 25% and improve the handling efficiency of irregular flights by over 60%. Additionally, the airport has achieved extensive coverage of self-service facilities across the entire process, with 100% coverage for domestic self-check-in and 56% for self-baggage check-in. It will become the first airport in China to fully implement international self-service facial boarding, enabling "one-face clearance" for more efficient and convenient passenger travel.
Currently, the weak current information system of Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport has entered the large-scale joint debugging and testing phase. Xiangye Group stated that it will continue to advance the system stress testing and performance optimization, ensuring stable operation under high concurrency and large data volume scenarios. The group will make every effort to complete the system integration and joint debugging work, laying a solid foundation for the airport's near-completion by the end of the year.
