I heard that the rose sea here is very beautiful, and it really lives up to its reputation, "said Li Xianfeng. The rose planting area is located on the city tree island in the park. Against the backdrop of large green leaves, various roses break their sepals and bloom repeatedly, creating a romantic flower sea. The warm sun casts a beautiful golden border on various roses. On site photography enthusiasts say that 4pm is the best time for taking photos due to the soft lighting.
Apart from the sea of flowers, the park features pavilions, bridges, and sea views that complement each other beautifully. On weekends, the park is bustling with visitors. Some bend down to immerse themselves in the flower fields, taking photos with roses to compete in beauty; others play and run through the fields, leaving behind laughter and joy; while some sit quietly in pavilions or stroll across bridges, gazing at the horizon where sea and sky blend into one, savoring a blissful moment.
It is understood that roses are one of the top ten famous flowers in China, with a wide variety of varieties, rich colors, long flowering period, and strong adaptability. Xiamen Haicang Garden Co., Ltd., the park management unit, introduced that Maluan Bay Ecological Three Islands Park is one of the demonstration sites for new and special varieties. The nearly 30 rose varieties planted here are all new and special varieties. After cultivation and observation, the selected rose varieties have good adaptability in Xiamen. Some rose varieties can bloom "non-stop" all year round, and some varieties have particularly outstanding rose flowers, such as the plump "red double petaled peerless beauty", which not only has a beautiful posture, but also has a mild cinnamon fragrance, with good ornamental effects; 'Rose · Agreement' is a domestically produced variety that blooms from spring to late autumn.
