Recently, the 2026 (Haicang, Xiamen) Tianzhu Mountain Tonghua Tourism Season officially kicked off at Tianzhu Mountain, a national 4A level tourist attraction. This cultural and tourism feast that integrates flower appreciation, culture, sports, music, and parent-child interaction will last until May 5th. The "Fun Play Haicang" hand drawn tourism map will be released simultaneously in 2026, showcasing the entire cultural and tourism resources of Haicang in the form of creative puzzles, helping scenic spots form a chain of beads, and achieving a "one map guide" to explore the mountains, seas, lakes, and islands.
On the day of the event, Tianzhu Mountain contracted a spring "friend circle" for Xiamen citizens and tourists. The paulownia elf, the four season flower god of India, and the flower god bestowed hairpin flower maidservants shuttle through the sea of flowers, their clothes dancing like fairy tales shining into reality; A humanoid robot wearing hairpin flowers and ancient costumes, integrating traditional culture with technological intelligence, attracting citizens and tourists to take photos and check in. The organizer also provided on-site facilities such as the "Tianzhu Flower World" land art check-in point, the "Play with Flowers" Tongwan Amusement Park, the Tianzhu Mountain Tongqu Market, and the Mountain Wild Flower City Walk, with a series of Tonghua themed activities, making it convenient for citizens and tourists to enjoy flowers and immerse themselves in the beauty and traditional culture of Tonghua.
At the launch ceremony, the 2026 "Fun Play Haicang" hand drawn tourism map was officially released. Through the puzzle ceremony of the four areas of Haicang, Xinyang, Songyu, and Dongfu, the complete Haicang cultural and tourism map was creatively presented, marking a new stage of "one map guidance" for the overall ecological tourism of Haicang. Nowadays, Haicang District is using paulownia as a medium to string scattered ecological attractions, rural businesses, and cultural spaces into a chain, allowing tourists to follow the map and enjoy the panoramic scenery of mountains, seas, lakes, and islands, opening up a new pattern of ecological tourism with panoramic views.
This year's Tonghua Tourism Season is mainly held in the Four Seasons Flower Valley of Tianzhu Mountain, running through tourist attractions on the east and west lines. With the rhythm of "flower events every week, excitement everywhere", it connects the five major sections of health, art, music, sports, and romance, covering all age groups such as youth, parents, and silver hair, further amplifying the consumption vitality behind the "flower viewing flow". The "Tongxin Walking Together" flower viewing avenue surrounding the Four Seasons Flower Valley has attracted many citizens and tourists to stop and play. Under the paulownia tree, there are many interesting "paulownia quotes" hidden, which make people smile knowingly and provide full emotional value for hiking and admiring flowers.
On site, many parents participated in the "Step by Step Flower" treasure hunt challenge with their children.
