On March 13th, the 11th Xiamen Citizen Greening Activity and the 3rd Xiamen Tree City Flower Market Bird Theme Activity were launched at Bailuzhou Park.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Phoenix Tree, City Flower Triangle Plum, and City Bird White Egret in Xiamen. In the first two sessions of the City Tree City Flower Market Bird Theme Activities, the organizers used various forms such as photography, short videos, painting creation, and IP image design to narrate the ecological relationship between the City Tree City Flower Market Bird and Xiamen, explore its cultural heritage, and showcase its unique charm. This event is not only a continuation and inheritance of Xiamen's greening industry, but also a vivid practice of building a high-level bay city.
This event is hosted by the Municipal Garden Bureau and the Municipal Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, with the theme of "Gathering Mighty Green Forces to Build an Ecological Garden City". It is accompanied by interactive experiences such as the "Public Welfare Green Plant" live broadcast room, the "Plant Hospital Open Day", and the flash market, calling on more citizens to actively practice a green lifestyle, plant green in the streets, alleys, and hearts, and together beautify the beautiful home, making green the heaviest color in urban development.
The third City Tree City Flower Market Bird Theme Event will also be accompanied by activities such as bird love and bird protection science popularization, triangle plum variety and bonsai exhibition, painting collection, flower border competition, calligraphy and painting collection, injecting surging vitality into urban ecological culture.
