From October 30 to November 2, the 16th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industry Expo and Trade Fair (referred to as "Cross-Strait Cultural Industry Expo") was held in Xiamen.
On October 29, as one of the important supporting activities of the 16th Cross-Strait Cultural Expo, the "Garden on the Sea Xiamen" cultural tourism promotion and exchange meeting was held at Xiamen Tianyuan Hotel. More than 120 guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao gathered together to experience the unique charm of Xiamen's cultural tourism through exchanges and interactions, discuss new opportunities for cultural tourism integration, and jointly draw a new picture of cross-strait exchanges.
With the theme of "Joyful Xiamen in the Garden on the Sea", this promotion conference demonstrated the unique charm of Xiamen as a high-quality, high-looking modern international city in an all-round and multi-dimensional manner through cultural tourism promotion, audio-visual performances and other forms.
In the promotion of cultural tourism, Xiamen focused on the four chapters of "sea, ecology, art, and life" and presented to the guests an ecological garden city with "the city on the sea and the sea in the city" through exquisite images and vivid narration. Guests attending the meeting conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of the cultural tourism industry, cross-strait cultural exchanges, and co-construction of cultural tourism brands. The guests unanimously believed that Xiamen has unique advantages in promoting the integration of culture and tourism across the Taiwan Straits and should further play its role as a bridge to promote resource exchange, market expansion, and brand building.
Peng Jun, director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, said that in the future, Xiamen will continue to promote the in-depth integration of culture and tourism, comprehensively promote the high-quality development of culture and tourism to achieve new results, further strengthen cross-strait linkage, and deepen cooperation.
